Fiona has recently finished studying for a foundation diploma in art and design in which she earned a distinction and was short-listed for the Peter Stanley Memorial Award.
She was brought up in the New Forest, England and has been painting and drawing ever since she could pick up a brush or pencil as a toddler. It has always been a hobby but she has now
been painting professionally for a few years. She has exhibited in London at the Mall Galleries on The Mall and the
Menier Gallery, in Warsaw, Poland and in the New Forest.
She is passionate about the sensuality of oils and also loves the medium of collage. Her work looks at subjects from unusual angles or focuses in close up sometimes to the point of abstraction. Very experimental with materials, her paintings are as likely to be made from concrete and tar as traditional oil paint!
